Therapeutic Support
for Women and Families
MY STORY
I am honored to be apart of your journey.
When life feels unmanageable, scary, or if you are looking for some guidance I am here to walk this path with you. I grew up on Oahu, studied Psychology in Boulder, CO, and then returned home to serve the families of Hawaii.
Since earning a Masters in Social Work from UH, I have worked with families with Child Welfare Services, Therapeutic Foster Care, Substance Abuse Treatment for both adults and teens, Early Intervention Services to address early childhood developmental needs, Medical Social Work, and intimate partner violence.
I have successfully worked with survivors of trauma and I am a trained birth trauma specialist. I am a Perinatal Mental Health Counselor certified by Postpartum Support International. I am also a trained Doula working toward Certification with DONA.
As a certified Womb Steam Therapist, I enjoy incorporating women's holistic and spiritual health into practice.
As a women, I understand the complexities of our role in modern day families.
As a mother, I have a strong maternal desire to walk alongside other women as they navigate this rich and ever changing role.
As a Christian, I am happy to work from a faith based perspective and bring prayer into session upon request.
In my free time you can find me and my husband Kaanapu raising our three children on our farm in the valley of Waiahole.
I look forward to hearing from you.
